Autumn, the best season for reading. We can’t fail to notice opportunities to let passion for books guide us.
Here you can go visit the exhibition “Yaku 300 nin no book cover ten” (-English translation: The exhibition of about 300 types of book cover designs gathering from book lovers –Written Japanese: 約300人のブックカバー展) held at Parco Gallery X in Shibuya if you happen to be here in Tokyo.
Actually, this exhibition is the second instalment of a book cover design exhibition series traveling around Japan – the first stop Osaka, second Tokyo and third Nagoya – directed by ‘Retro Insatsu JAM (Written Japanese mixed: レトロ印刷 JAM)’, the printing firm based in Osaka, and it features work from actual book stores, book-nerds and book-loving illustrators using the firm’s printing method.
You can actually buy all the printed designs showcased at exhibition:
Wouldn’t it be great if you take your reading time to the next level with the imaginative and fun book covers? (Wink)
