— ART, FASHION & MORE !
For Towa Tei, former Deee-lite member, the year 2014 is to ensure and yet at the same time enrich his 20-year solo career as DJ and artist.
In conjunction with the release of his best albums “94-14” and “94-14 COVER” on September 3rd, Tei curates the exhibition “TOWA TEI THINKS PRETTY THINGS” at marunouchi HOUSE— as the beginning of his 20th anniversary – and of course latest – project. It is about Tei‘s work and some collaboration work with other artists (previous and current), ranging from musical work to artwork, not only music art project such as the vinyl in the funkadelic-futuristic colors but also the collage with the complimenting designs which is one of the other creative mediums he has.
The exhibition takes you on an imaginary and upbeat journey tracing the history of the Japanese music scene.
The exhibition “TOWA TEI THINKS PRETTY THINGS” is on view at marunouchi house on the seventh floor of Shin-Marunouchi Building located at 1-5-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku in Tokyo until Sunday, September 28th.
