Twinkle Twinkle

Hypercute concept — Little Twin Stars, one of major animatronic creations from Sanrio and people’s cravings for sweet stuff were glued together in the heart of Tokyo. The best-known aspect of Sanrio’s work all over the world is probably Hello Kitty. In Japan, however, Little Twin Stars aka Kiki (the name for blue-haired boy) & Lala (the name for pink-haired girl), twins from stars, has reached the same level of popularity as Hello Kitty since its launch in 1975.

As if in synchronization with a boom of sweet doll-like look in Japan, the collaboration work of Little Twin Stars and Shibuya PARCO called Kiki & Lala Café has fascinated quite a few people (not only girls but also adult women) with Little Twin Stars’ fantasied way of expression using pastel color palette since its opening, which was on March 21st of this year.

Hi Valentina, thanks for stopping by.
Yes this fairy tale feeling is a cultural phenomenon to especially describe the scenes of Shibuya and Harajuku. For “Kawaii” lovers/seekers this is a must-go place this month….The crepe was as sweet as the Little Twin Stars is by the way xoxo
