— ART, FASHION & MORE !
While I was making a venture into Soho lately, I met a sweater that provides me inspiration and sparks my interest at Ritual Vintage.
It’s still deathly cold but already January, and the fashion market has been going forward and forward with Fashion Week upcoming, so there is tons of spring stuff available in the most of the retail stores. Nonetheless, I still feel like having fun spending my wintry time surrounded by some fluffy things.
As my motivation for outfit-shopping, timing is everything. It is that much important for me because I always need to take a long time to discover a right fit for my taste and flat body shape. (It could be a good method to do shopping diet if I really should. Oh well.) Therefore, I purchase something which is good on me when finding, and this fact is closely related to the reason why I like vintage store crawl.
Reason A) I often find my favorite color palette in the 60’s – 70’s styles even though I do wear many different kinds of design and not stick to a specific style.
Reason B) Vintage clothes provide someone with not only a spirit of designer but also a new perspective with its historical background.
Reason C) In general, vintage clothing store is composed of a wide range of merchandise under its theory, such as one-of- a-kind piece, regardless of the seasonal changes.
So, anyway, I found and bought the fancy La Squadra Paris – Monte Calro sweater this time. (Sadly, I cannot write about this designer La Squadra more specifically, because of lack of information on Google.)- it’s coincidentally from ‘70s. Ah, I am still feeling excitement about the perfect fit. It is so petite- Size 1 in French women’s size. I hope you can enjoy looking at my sweater with a different design on each side from every angle. What’s more, this piece has bell-sleeves with a huge turtle neck in shape like a fountain, and it seems like the pretty color combination which reminds me of sweets welcomed myself.
After all, my treasure hunt was merely an hour or so, but I am very happy with finding the colorful 40 year-old sweater. I still don’t want to get out of my wintry fluffy dream.
